When temperatures begin to rise in Salisbury, you’ll want to be sure you have reliable air conditioning in your house. But if your HVAC unit hasn’t been serviced lately, your comfort could be at risk. Read on for Beaver Brothers’ top 3 reasons you should schedule spring air conditioner maintenance.

Eliminate allergies in your Salisbury, NC, home

Did you know that your home’s air is actually more polluted than the air outside? This may seem hard to believe, but it’s true- especially in homes with inefficient air conditioners. Without proper airflow and filtration, contaminants like mold, pet dander and dust accumulate in the ducts and circulate through the house. These pollutants are a leading cause of spring allergies. Schedule spring air conditioner maintenance to reduce allergies in your home.

Energy savings in Lake Norman

After winter heating costs have done their damage, mild spring temperatures are a welcome change. However, inefficient HVAC can cause your energy bills to go through the roof, no matter what the season. Clogged filters, leaky ductwork and faulty thermostats can all affect your air conditioner’s performance, making it use more energy to cool your home. Call Beaver Brothers for HVAC maintenance that will lower your energy bills this spring.

Spring air conditioner maintenance extends HVAC system lifespan

In addition to monthly energy savings, proper maintenance saves you money in the long run. A well-maintained HVAC system can last more than 15 years. On the other hand, neglected equipment will need more frequent and major repairs, eventually resulting in a system breakdown. If you want consistent in-home comfort for years to come, you need spring air conditioner maintenance from Beaver Brothers, Inc.

Power Usage

5 5 1
Gentlemen, We just got our monthly Home Energy Report from Duke Power. The report tracks our kilowatt hour usage monthly going back a year and compares our usage to the “Average Home” and that of an energy “Efficient Home.” Our track record before February showed that we ranged between 200-800 kilowatt hours above the Average Home. The downward spiral of our energy usage tracks exactly to the installation of the geothermal HVAC unit by you and your team. We are now tracking consistently with the “Average Home” and are only about 200 kilowatt hours above the “Efficient Home.” The big number however is that we are 1,000 kilowatt hours below our usage in June of last year! Now, I know that circumstances out of our control can raise or lower kilowatt hour usage, but Jan and I are convinced the numbers relate directly to the geothermal system. From a dollar standpoint, we are paying a range of $50-75 less per month to Duke Power. Just thought that you and your team would appreciate a testimonial regarding the value of their work and the products that they represent. Sincerely, Rick
